Born in 1981 in Jerusalem. After nine years of military service, at the end of which he served as a company commander of the Egoz Special Forces Unit, Amichai decided to turn to education and established the Tavor Pre-Military Academy. Amichai has an MA in diplomacy and security studies from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Haifa, with honors. In his army reserve service, Amichai serves as a company commander in one of the IDF’s elite units, with the rank of major. Amichai currently lives in Kibutz Hanaton with his wife and three childrens.

Oshrat 33, a mother of two- Abigail (5) and Erez (3). Lives in Illania, married to Alon, an IDF officer. Graduated from "Kadori" and volunteered for a year of community service in Lakhish. I enlisted for a two-year service in the Prime Minister's Office and stayed for almost a decade in a variety of positions.
Afterwards I worked in the field of organizational consulting for two years, until 2016 when I crossed paths with "Tavor" and I was lucky to manage the 7th and the 8th years of the pre-army academy ("Mechina"). With the approval of the IDF Education Corps for the establishment of "Tavor Institute" I was appointed as the manager of the institute for this year.

Yehonatan has a BA in Hebrew literature and an MA in the study of US Jewry, is a PhD candidate at Haifa University. He leads leadership programs in Europe for the JDC and lectures at pre-military academies. He served in the past as the director of Ein Prat’s Graduate Academy and also as CEO of the Hitorerut movement represented on the Jerusalem City Council, and was a member of the educational team of the President’s Residence.

He teaches Jewish philosophy, theology and history in various settings, and has headed a program on “Philosophy and Cinema,” which interfaces the worlds of cinema and religious thought and philosophy, for more than ten years. He serves as a cantor and leads prayer services in various communities.

Tamir, 34, married to Maayan and father to Matan, Yuval, and Guy, grew up in Nahalal and currently lives in Kibbutz Gilad.  He served as director of Masa 70, a two month journey through the State of Israel to commemorate Israel's 70th Independence Day, attended by thousands of participants from various organizations.  Tamir served for 16 years in the IDF in command positions and special units.  He holds an MA in Management and Leadership in Education from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Haifa.

He holds a BA in law and government from the IDC, Herzliya, and is an MBA student at the University of Haifa, Israel, majoring in NPOs. He worked for seven years in various educational settings in informal education. In his free time, he likes to play soccer and jog.

In the past, he served in the Paratroopers’ Brigade, including as a company commander, and currently serves as a deputy battalion commander in the reserves. He holds a BA in political science and an MBA. In the past six years, Gilad has directed pre-military educational programs for high school graduates in the context of HaShomer HaChadash, a grassroots organization that helps farmers and ranchers in the Negev and the Galilee safeguard their land.
